healing crusade...t o u c h! wow!update on the whole of last week: on wednesday...had to go for support at SIS...and there was briefing on thursday...but unfortunately i couldnt be there...on friday was rev. benny hinn's healing crusade (service 1)...i was so excited...it was my first time being in a healing crusade and i didnt really know wad to expect...when i first entered the stadium...there we thousands of sticker labels which means that the seats are reserved...there was at least 2000 stickers if im not wrong...yup...i was ushering at west balcony...when the doors were open...it was really scary...it was like a stampede...everyone was running...and pushing around...as you know...there are curtains around...and those curtains had to be closed at all times...then when all the ppl started running...their belongings dragged the curtains along...and the ushers had to run and pull the curtains back...then it was al calm...until another 'stampede' came...they pulled the curtains again...and so we 'ran after' the curtains and pulled it back...but this time...we didnt let go of the curtains...we held it as tight as we could...then a third 'stampede' came and since we were holding the curtains...they kind of pulled us along...but not that far...thank god!haha...the curtains were going to like rip apart...haha...there were about 5000 people who didnt manage to get into the stadium...the whole stadium was packed with people...
during the service...we sang lotsa songs...praise and worship...you could really feel the presence of god there...i could feel it even though i was busy ushering...(that shows how strong the presence of god was in there)...yup yup...many ppl were healed...the lame could walk...the paralytics could get up...etc...
then rev benny hinn prayed for the choir and the congregation...he told the choir to hold hands...and not to stand on the aisles...he said just one word..."TOUCH!"...the choir went bamm!and they landed safely...mostly on the chairs...just looking at that, made the rest of the congregation crave for god's presence to fall on them too...
rev. benny hinn told pst kong that he wants to have one more service on saturday afternoon at 4pm...
so on saturday's 4pm service...(service 2)...i did the west balcony again...the doors opened...this time...there wasnt a 'stampede'...but instead...the flow was very slow...really very very VERY slow...haha...but we managed to pack the hall once again...the service started at 3.30pm instead...the presence of god was even stronger in this service...many people cried as god's presence touched them...many people were healed...rev benny hinn asked certain groups of people to stay in the hall...eg the pastors...the people from china, etc...
we had a very short transition period...and so we had to rush to clear the hall and place the bulletins and all...
for the last service...i cried out to god telling him that i want to fall in his presence...
and soon...we had to open the doors to the 7.30pm service...(service 3)...once again...we could feel god's tangible presence in the stadium again...many people again were healed...and rev benny hinn prayed for everyone again...he prayed for the pastors...he was just praying and the pastors started falling slowly from the front to the back...then he prayed for the choir..."TOUCH!"...the choir went bamm! then he prayed for the congregation..."TOUCH!"...and and we fell...when he was praying for the west side of the congregation...me and another 2 ushers held hands...and when he said "TOUCH!"...we fell on our seats...i didnt wanna get up...i wanted to remain in his presence...many people were also healed in this service...
after we cleared the hall...the ushers had to do recycling...we went home at about 2 plus...and reached home at about 3plus...then i slept for about 2 and a half hours...and i gotta wake up and report for ushering in the SIS...
when we reached SIS...almost all the ushers there looked half dead as all of us were very tired...so i asked jean to put on some make-up for me...i served at the west arena...near the end of the service...pst sun prayed for the sick...and many were healed...pst kong told us that pst sun used to have her own healing crusades as well...
then it was time for recycling...
my cg went for fellowship at millenia walk after the service...
after recycling...me and tim went to millenia walk to look for them...hmm...we walked round and round...up and down...but we didnt know where it was...haha...it was so tiring...so in the end shi ying came to look for us and bring us to the food court...both of us were so hungry we kinda gobbled our food down...haha...cos for the past few days we didnt get to eat a proper meal...like on saturday...where we had 2 services...we didnt eat breakfast...no time for lunch and no time for dinner...but honestly...it was all worthwhile...yeap...
i was so tired that when i went home...i went flat on my bed...! haha...and slept till this morning...i woke up at about 8am...looked at the time...went back sleep...woke up at 9am...looked at the time...went back to sleep...and eventually woke up at 10plus...haha...
