I was just reading through some of my previous daily success keys and I came across this entry which really struck me. As you will read, that opportunities WILL come to all. But only those who are ready can recognize the opportunity when it comes and will be ready to accept that opportunity. What will become of me if I don't plan for my tomorrow? Or if I make a wrong choice or decision that will cause my walk with God to go the wrong way? You may say "I have already made plans for my future." But ask yourself, "Am I making the right choices? Is this what God really wants in my life?" The choices you make today will determine your tomorrow. The Planning Of Today Determines My Performance Of Tomorrow. Understanding this principle is vital to the future progress of our lives. There are many who are unhappy in life because they're not where they would like to be. There are others experiencing great joy because they are reaping the rewards of the life they have planned. There are far too many believers who reject the interval of time when God is attempting to lay the groundwork and develop their character. This season of planning is necessary to qualify them for what God desires for them to accomplish.

Ok. This post should be up a long time ago. Anyways, here it is.
The first night was our POS performance. I'm so depressed because, out of all the stunts I was supposed to do, I didn't manage to complete my hitch. That was the only stunt, that I really, really, REALLY didn't wanna screw up in. But well, it's over. There were 2 sessions on the second day. I served for session 3. PRAISE THE LORD! I was thinking about where I would be serving that night. Then I got the message that I would be serving in Charlie. I was so happy. Haha. Finally, not Alpha, not Echo and not traffic. I'm not saying that it's bad serving there. In fact, I do enjoy serving in those areas. But it's just that I've been serving only in those 3 areas since the day we moved to EXPO. So yup! I was so happy. And guess what?! Not only was I serving in Charlie, I was positioned to serve in CA02. That's where the pastors and leaders sit in! Haha. Praise the Lord!! On that night, Kelly Poon, Jun Yang and Taufik came to our church to perform! I was so surprised! Well, everyone was. Haha. Heard from pastor that all 3 of them said that they have never seen anything or been to anywhere like this before! On the 3rd day, SUN and her manager Yellow came! I went up to the stage with Swee. I passed her a teddy bear and Swee passed her a balloon in the shape of a flower. Written on it was "You're special". SUN gave both of us a hug!!! Haha. We all had a great time. After service, me and my sis had to rush home because it was our MUMMY's birthday!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM!!! And of course, the last day of EMERGE. No doubts that that night ended with a loud bang! There was a performance by the Strikeforce team, dance, and our very beloved....... SUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What more?!! Milk who used to be from the pop band "ENERGY" came with her! They performed a song together, "881. Loneliness", from SUN's latest album. And then, the time which all the students were waiting for and feeling so anxious about.... the RESULTS!! For the secondary clusters: 1st. South 2nd. East Woohoo!! 3rd. North 4th. West Tertiary clusters: 1st. SIM/SMU (can't remember the rest) I'll update if i can remember =P After everything ended, my zone gathered together to take a zone photo. Wow! I didn't know so many people from the zone! It's so big now!! Haha. Well, EMERGE 2006 was a great success! There's something wrong with blogger. So I can't upload the pictures. Never mind. Till next time. |

Today, I went to watch "She's The Man" with Swee, Lucas, GJ, Shawn and his sister. Nice show. Should watch. Haha. It's funny. Really. Then we went to eat at Pastamania. Me and Swee went to Heeren after that.
As we were waiting for a bus, something funny happened. Shhhh.... Swee, it's our secret. Haha. |
