I was just reading through some of my previous daily success keys and I came across this entry which really struck me. As you will read, that opportunities WILL come to all. But only those who are ready can recognize the opportunity when it comes and will be ready to accept that opportunity. What will become of me if I don't plan for my tomorrow? Or if I make a wrong choice or decision that will cause my walk with God to go the wrong way? You may say "I have already made plans for my future." But ask yourself, "Am I making the right choices? Is this what God really wants in my life?" The choices you make today will determine your tomorrow.

The Planning Of Today Determines My Performance Of Tomorrow.

Understanding this principle is vital to the future progress of our lives. There are many who are unhappy in life because they're not where they would like to be. There are others experiencing great joy because they are reaping the rewards of the life they have planned. There are far too many believers who reject the interval of time when God is attempting to lay the groundwork and develop their character. This season of planning is necessary to qualify them for what God desires for them to accomplish.

We cannot afford to neglect to plan for our future. What type of builder would attempt to build a skyscraper without first having a blueprint? Why is it any different when building a life? God wants to bring all of us a great future, but only those who plan will ever experience it. Although opportunity may come to all, only those who have readied themselves can recognize the opportunity when it comes. Develop a plan for attaining the future you desire. It is time to get ready for the future that you have planned for.
