Italy, The World Cup Champions./ 9:10 AM
GO ENGLAND!!! *Sigh* France lost. I went to Ivan's church on Sunday night, to support him and also to watch SOCCER!! heeeeeee =] Praise and Worship was great! I thought that it was so cute seeing Ivan bouncing up and down on the stage. Haha. I guess it's a little different from my church. But WHO CARES!! The presence of God was there. The hunger for God to move was there. What does this show? It doesn't matter where you are, or which church you're in. We are all part of the body of Christ. And God WILL move. They sang worship even though they were there to watch the World Cup! But like what their Pastor (i think) said, "Even though we're here just to watch soccer, but it says in the Bible that we should sing praises to God no matter where we are, and no matter what time it is." After the whole session, there was a satay bbq. As I was walking in the midst of the crowd, I saw one of my school mate, Elizabeth! She belonged to that church. WHAT A COINCIDENCE! Haha. I didn't expect to see anyone else I knew there! And so we went back into the hall. They played us a video on some of the soccer players and how God was the ones who helped them through their years of playing soccer and being in the World Cup. And now.. The moment we all awaited for.. WORLD CUP FINALS 2006!!!! Ok. I admit.. I did doze off at some parts of the 1st half. heh... =P I was so happy when France scored the goal! But Italy just had to break it.. They scored a goal too. When it came to half-time, I had my chance to sleep. But.. No one woke me up when the 2nd half started! And guess when I woke up!? Just after Zidane did his head-butt on Materazzi!! AHHHHH!!!! I MISSED IT!! CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hahaha. He should have controlled himself until after the whole game was over. France could have stand a chance if they had Zidane. Zidane was a penalty taker. So if he was there, he could have made a difference in the shootout. The papers say that Zidane is a brilliant player. He could have been remembered for that. But now, Zidane's head-butt will be what he is remembered for, instead of his wonderful play. I totally disagree. Yes. I will remember Zidane for the head-butt he did on Materazzi. But the thing about him that I will remember the most, will be that he was a wonderful and brilliant player. Zidane. Oh, Zidane... ... YOU STILL ROCK MY SOCCER WORLD!!! Haha. Here's some pics! =) Waiting for a cab to go to Ivan's church  In the cab.. I'm so EXCITED!!!! Haha.

The Cat and The Guitar/ 8:30 AM
I was watching Pirates of the Caribbean on Channel 5, and playing my guitar at the same time ... ... ... ... ...when a cat came to my door, sat down, and listened to me play. It was sooooooo CUTE!!  I decided to go closer to it. But as what most other cats would do... RUN AWAY!! The cat ran down. I thought that maybe if I continued to play, it would come back. So... I played. And played. And PLAYED. But still there was no sign of the cat. In the end, I decided to go down to look for it. I went down with my photographer (my sis). We found the cat one level down. I didn't want to scare it away, so I sat on the steps and started playing the guitar.  After playing for a while, the cat fell asleep!!  Again, I decided to go closer. Dumb enough, The cat woke up. So I sat at the bottom of the steps and started playing again. Spot the CAT! Found it? Found it??  |

England v Portugal Loser? : Winner? Brazil v France Loser? : Winner? Oh my goodness!!!!!! I can't believe it! Brazil didn't even get into the Semi-finals! This is sooooooooo wrong. Haha. Did you see the looks on those English when they lost? Did you see the look on my poor David Beckham's face? Most importantly... Did you see the look on my poor Joe Cole's face? Ahhhh! I'm so sad! It's okay England. I still support you!! See you in 4 years time! It's time for Beckham and J. Cole have a good night's sleep anyway. Poor J. Cole's eyebags are so big, he looks like he got punched. Ahh.. My poor Joe Cole. Haha. (Oh by the way, Cheryl Tweedy is so PRETTY. She is H-O-T, HOT!) |
