This is Buttons. My boyfriend's hamster. I've been taking care of her for 6 months. These 6 months were enough for me to build a connection of love with her. I forgot what it feels like to lose a loved one until last Thursday, 27th of December 2007. Buttons passed away in her sleep. I'm not sure what time it was, but she was still moving that morning. I even gave her her food. After that, I took a bath and changed to a new set of clothes, all ready to go out. I was going to kiss her goodbye before I left. I guess it's really goodbye. She passed away. She was all hard and stiff. She wasn't moving. I called Poh Meng and told him about it. And we both cried. Buttons was with him even before his O levels.. We love you Buttons and we'll miss you. You were the best hamster ever. I'll really, really miss you..


Anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! May 2008 be the best year yet for you!=)
